The Esan Youth Forum for Credible Leadership (EYFCL), a leading youth organization in Edo Central, has formally endorsed Hon. Prince Odi Okojie for the vacant senatorial seat following Senator Monday Okpebholo’s swearing-in as Governor of Edo State.
In a statement signed by its leader, Comrade Osezua Ibhade, the group celebrated Prince Odi Okojie’s transformative leadership and exceptional contributions as the member representing Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
“Prince Odi Okojie has set a new standard for representation through his impactful projects and dedication to service,” Comrade Ibhade said. “From the installation of solar-powered streetlights and transformers to stable electricity across our communities, to his investments in education and healthcare, Okojie has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the progress of Esanland.”
The group detailed Okojie’s achievements, including free medical outreach programs, the construction of health centers, and the distribution of fertilizers to farmers, which have significantly improved lives across the constituency.
His efforts to empower women and youth and his development of modern markets and motor parks were also commended for their positive impact on local economies.
Comrade Ibhade appealed to Esan indigenes to support Okojie’s senatorial ambition, stating, “He is a proven leader who understands the needs of the people. We are confident that his vision and dedication will take Edo Central to greater heights in the Senate.”
The EYFCL called on political stakeholders to prioritize leaders with a track record of competence and service. “Prince Odi Okojie embodies the qualities of effective and selfless leadership. He is undoubtedly the right choice to represent Edo Central at this crucial time,” the statement concluded.
