Speaking during the 2024 IHEJIOKU OGBUNKA celebration at his Palace Awuka Ogbunka, HRH Igwe Anyaoha commended Governor Soludo for finding some sons of Ogbunka worthy to serve in his administration.

He also appreciated the Governor for his infrastructural revolution, which has reached Ogbunka with the construction of the Ogbunka-Nawfia-Ajali road, now nearing completion.

The Igwe also thanked Almighty God for the bountiful harvest the people of Ogbunka enjoyed this year and prayed that in the coming year, the land of Ogbunka will yield an even greater harvest.

It’s worthy of note that the Ogbunka Community, which is well known for being predominantly farmers, is thankful for the Agricultural Revolution Programme launched by the Governor, Prof Charles Soludo CFR, and the distribution of over 1.4 million seedlings to the farmers recently.

The people, in the spirit of sportsmanship, therefore pledged their unflinching support for the operation of the Farm-to-Feed Campaign kicked off by the indefatigable Governor.

Igwe Nawfija, HRH Ezeudo Fordmark Okeke KSC, and his Owerre Ezukala counterpart, HRH Igwe Thomas Ogbonnaya, among other distinguished sons and daughters of Ogbunka, were present at the event.

The high points of the event included paying homage to the traditional ruler whereby the villages that makeup Ogbunka, the Royal Cabinet, Ogbunka Development Union, the Ogbunka Youth Organization, and various groups in the community presented their gifts to the traditional ruler.
