Uzodimma Kick-Starts Second Term With Rural Road Infrastructure Projects

Rural development, road and other infrastructure projects promised by the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, commenced in full swing, at the weekend.

The Reconstruction work on 8.4 kilometre road, and 2.7 kilometre spur, MCC, Toronto/Uratta/Uzoagba Road from Owerri, linking the communities, have begun.

According to a statement issued, by the Hope New and Electronic Media Centre, stated that the aim of the execution of the ambitious projects was to ensure inter-connectivity of the rural areas to other parts of the state, stressing: “The reconstruction of the MCC Toronto/Uratta/Uzoagba Road under the Uzodimma administration marks a significant milestone in addressing longstanding infrastructure challenges in the state.”
