The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) paid a courtesy visit to the Imo State Commissioner for Finance and Coordinating Economy, Hon. Chuck Chukuemeka, as part of their state monitoring tour. This visit aimed to reinforce transparency and fairness in revenue allocation for the state.
Barrister Mrs. Elizabeth N. Okafor led the RMAFC delegation and stressed their dedication to ensuring Imo State receives its rightful share of federal revenue. The team commended the infrastructural progress they observed during their visit and underlined the significance of financial accountability in maintaining and expanding such developments.
Commissioner Chukuemeka warmly received the delegation, affirming the state government’s readiness to collaborate fully with RMAFC’s initiatives. He assured, “We must ensure that we claim all revenues due to us. Anything that boosts state revenue inflow has my full backing.”
