The newly inaugurated Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ezinihitte Local Government Area, High Chief Chilaka Nwokedi Nwaimo, has extended an appeal to all discontented members of the party in the area, urging them to return to the fold.

Speaking with journalists at the party’s State Secretariat on Okigwe Road, Owerri, after his inauguration by the state PDP Chairman, Hon. Austin Nwachukwu, Chief Nwaimo expressed joy over his new role. He emphasized his passion for service and his strong connection with the people, noting that Ezinihitte is a key stronghold of the PDP in Imo State, despite the fact that the current House of Assembly seat was taken by the APC.

Chief Nwaimo reaffirmed the community’s trust in the PDP as the only party capable of meeting their needs. He promised to revitalize the party under his leadership and work towards reclaiming the political dominance they once enjoyed. He emphasized that the party will focus on regaining the values and principles that the people of Ezinihitte hold dear.

He further expressed confidence that the PDP will once again control the political landscape of Ezinihitte and called on all aggrieved members to return, assuring them that their interests will be protected and their desires fulfilled.

Similarly, Chief Sir Justin Agochi Mgbeoduru, the newly inaugurated PDP Secretary for Ezinihitte LGA, shared his satisfaction with the inauguration of Chief Nwaimo and his team, stating that it reflects the will of the people. He pledged that, with God’s grace, they would work to strengthen the party and leave it in a better state than they found it.

Chief Mgbeoduru also stressed the importance of reconciliation, promising to work towards bringing back disillusioned members so that the PDP can regain its momentum. He encouraged the people of Ezinihitte to celebrate the party’s revival and urged all disaffected members to rejoin and contribute to the party’s future success.
