Some group of market women in Ilorin have ganged up against their fellow colleague for selling her foodstuffs in cheaper price.
The incident took place in the bustling marketplace when the women were busy selling their products. The conflict arose between the market women and one of their own.
The issue at hand was the price of garri, a staple food made from cassava, which the targeted vendor was selling at a significantly lower price than her competitors.
According to an eyewitness, whose voice could be heard in a video, the vendor sells her Garri at N800 while her other market women sell theirs at an outrageous prices.
However, it appeared that the woman has gained more customers who buy from her. This did not seems to sit well with the market women as they stormed to her stalk to attack her.
The video triggered massive reactions as social media users expressed their contempt via comment section.
