Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, expressed deep concern and sadness over the brutal assassination of Mr. Silas Onyima, President-General of Umuoji Community. The state government strongly condemns this act of violence.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Onyima’s family, the Umuoji community, and the entire Idemili North Local Government Area.
Governor Soludo is determined to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous act face justice. He has directed the State security agencies to take immediate action and apprehend the culprits for swift prosecution.
Despite these criminal acts, the Anambra State Government remains committed to the security of lives and property. We urge all residents to stay calm and law-abiding as we work together with security agencies to maintain peace in our communities and state.
