The Miss Universe Nigeria camp has officially commenced, welcoming 24 contestants to the Festival Hotel in Festac, Lagos.
The contestants arrived on Saturday, August 24, 2024, and began their journey towards the coveted crown.
The day started with check-in and registration, followed by an official photo shoot, where each contestant posed with elegance and poise.
An orientation session led by Guy Murray-Bruce, President of the Silverbird Group, emphasized the significance of the competition beyond beauty, focusing on personal growth, leadership, and promoting Nigerian culture globally.
The contestants are now looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead, leading up to the grand finale on August 31 at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.
This year’s winner will receive ₦10 million in cash, along with other prizes, and will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant.
