Groups Eulogize Soludo, Insist He Deserves Another Turn

The former chairmen and women leaders forum of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) recently paid a solidarity visit to the MD/CEO of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).

Members, hailing from nine wards of Awka Constituency A, lauded Soludo’s developmental strides during his tenure, expressing unwavering support for him.

Mr. Ikechukwu Anene, the forum coordinator and former Chairman of APGA, Awka Ward 6, commended Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for transforming Awka into a world-class capital city through human-oriented and infrastructural development.

Anene highlighted previous neglect of Awka by past administrations, emphasizing Soludo’s unprecedented achievements and predicting overwhelming support for him in the 2025 gubernatorial elections.

The forum, comprising former grassroots party leaders, pledged full support for Soludo, citing their experience and determination to ensure APGA’s victory in all elections.

Mrs. Bridget Okeke, the first female ward Chairman in Awka South, praised Soludo’s efforts in facilitating easy electoral victories for party faithful, acknowledging his appointment of young and vibrant individuals like Hon. Ossy Onuko to drive development in Awka.

She highlighted improvements in infrastructure, including roads and recreational facilities, noting a significant transformation in the city.

Mr. Alex Chinwuko, former Chairman of Awka Ward 5, expressed gratitude for Soludo’s attention to the inner city, particularly in addressing flooding issues, promising continued support and goodwill.

In response, Hon. Ossy Onuko of ACTDA thanked the group for recognizing Soludo’s achievements, underscoring the governor’s open-door policy and receptiveness to people’s needs.

Onuko advocated for Soludo’s continued leadership beyond 2025, citing his remarkable legacy in Anambra State.

The occasion culminated in the installation of Hon. Ossy Onuko as the organization’s first patron.
