The Executive Governor Of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo earlier yesterday commissioned solar street lights donated by member representing Njikoka 11 in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Akpua.
Speaking through The Deputy Governor Of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim appreciated the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Pius Chukwuma Okoye and Anambra 8th Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze for the love and peace in the Assembly, stating that, peace brings progress.
He said, Governor Soludo has alot of programs for the state and by the time he is done with them, Anambra will be competing with southern states.
Dr. Ibezim stated that, Governor Soludo has completed 240km of roads in two years, and he constructs roads where there are none, noting that Governor Soludo reconstruct, rehabilitates and construct new network roads using Oba-Ofemmiri as illustration.
Dr. Ibezim maintained that, the gesture is inline with Governor Soludo’s agenda to light up all the communities in the state, saying that, it will make the constituency safer and brighter in the evenings and will no doubt bring the governor’s dreams to light.
Describing Hon. Akpua as a true and worthy son of the soil, he appreciated Hon. Akpua for complementing Governor Soludo’s effort in building a sustainable infrastructures that will facilitate social cohesion in the society.
He added that, it indeed conforms with Governor Soludo’s commitment to providing social amenities to the local communities through not only construction of road networks but providing them with lightening systems to beautify them and enhance security.
