Kwara State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will launch the emblem for the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day and Appeal Fund on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
The event will take place at the Ministry of Social Development, Marriage Registry Hall in Ilorin, Kwara State’s capital, at 10 am.
The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is celebrated every January 15 of the year to honour the memories of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who put their lives on the line while protecting the country and its citizens from external threats.
Governor Abdulrazaq does not only use this event to honour the memories of the country’s fallen heroes but also use it to donate a reasonable amount to the purse of the Force in showing appreciation for its protection of the country from external threats.
