In a surprise move, Dennis Ikegwuonu, a former chairmanship aspirant for Nnewi North LGA, has announced the collapse of his campaign structure in support of Hon Echezona Anazodo, the APGA candidate for the upcoming local government election.
Ikegwuonu, in a statement, said: “After careful consideration and consultation with my supporters, I have decided to throw my weight behind Hon Echezona Anazodo, the APGA candidate. I believe he has the vision, experience, and leadership skills to take Nnewi North to the next level.”
He urged his supporters to work tirelessly for Hon Anazodo’s victory, saying: “Let us unite for the progress of Nnewi North. Hon Anazodo is the best choice for our local government, and I have no doubt he will deliver.”
Hon Echezona Anazodo, in response, thanked Ikegwuonu for his support, saying: “I am grateful for Dennis Ikegwuonu’s endorsement. His support is a testament to our shared commitment to the development of Nnewi North. Together, we will make a difference.”
