Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, has named Arsenal as the club he would not like to see crowned Premier League champions due to his relationship with Tottenham Hotspur.
Walker spent eight years at Spurs who are based in North London where Arsenal are also based
He has now said that if City do not win the title, he would rather see Liverpool take the title over Mikel Arteta’s due to his lingering allegiance to Spurs.
Walker said on the FIVE podcast: “It’s so hard. I don’t want Arsenal [to win] because of Tottenham.”
When asked by Ferdinand if he still had affection for Spurs, Walker replied: “Yeah, I just don’t want Arsenal.”
Liverpool are currently top with 63 points, one more than City and two clear of Arsenal.
The top two clubs will meet on Sunday while Arsenal play Brentford on Saturday
