The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Paul Omotoso, is dead.
According to Sahara Reporters the politician died early Wednesday morning.
The state publicity secretary of the party, Mr Segun Dipe, who confirmed the death, did not give further details.
It was learnt that Omotoso had not been in good shape since his abduction in July 2023.
He was abducted along with two others at the Agbado Ekiti axis after gunmen shot at the tyre of his car before dragging them into a waiting Hilux van.
He was rescued some days later through the combined effort of the police and other security outfits.
