The commencement of police recruitment in Anambra State has prompted the Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, to emphasize the crucial need for transparency and professionalism in the selection process of new officers.

Addressing the recruitment board at the Police Headquarters in Awka, Anambra State he highlighted the significance of maintaining a fair and merit-based process to enlist individuals into the Anambra State Police Force.

Adeoye emphasized the necessity for transparency and professionalism, with the objective of ensuring that only the most qualified candidates are chosen to join the force.

He assured the public that the recruitment process would be transparent, and updates on its progress would be communicated through official channels.

Additionally, he urged the public to disregard unverified information related to the recruitment and report any incidents of corruption or misconduct.

He assured that with the recruitment board now convened, the selection process for new officers in the Anambra State Police Force is expected to proceed in an impartial and transparent manner, ensuring that only the most capable individuals are entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining law and order in the state.
