Popular Nollywood stars Tobi Bakre and Nse Ikpe Etim put the country’s name on the world map as they received the best actor and actress respectively in a Leading Role at the African Movie Academy Awards, AMAA.
The Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos was the venue for the awards ceremony on Sunday, and it was skillfully hosted by Nancy Isime, Rahama Sadau, and Richard Ato Turkson.
The best of African cinema was celebrated at the awards ceremony, which brought together filmmakers from all over the world.
