The English Premier League, have congratulated four Super Eagles stars after Nigeria booked their place in the semi-final of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
In a tweet on its official X account the football body congratulated Alex Iwobi, Oka Aina, Frank Onyeka and Calvin Bassey after Nigeria defeated Angola 1-0 in the AFCON quarter-final encounter on Friday.
EPL tweeted.
“Congratulations to Frank Onyeka, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi.”
Onyeka currently plays his club football at Premier club, Brentford, while Aina represents Nottingham Forest.
Iwobi and Bassey play for Fulham.
