Zone 13 Gets New Voice as ASP Oha Assumes Office as Zonal PPRO

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chidera Samuel Oha has officially assumed office as the new Zonal Police Public Relations Officer (ZPPRO) for Zone 13 Police Headquarters, Ukpo, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The appointment, approved by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, is aimed at strengthening ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, improve information dissemination, and deepen public trust between the Nigeria Police Force and members of the public across the zone.

ASP Oha, an indigene of Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force in 2021 after graduating from the Nigeria Police Academy, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biological Sciences.

During his training and early years in service, he underwent several professional and specialized courses, including Combat Operations and Counter-Terrorism Course at the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Training School, Ila-Orangun, Osun State; Basic Detective Course at Wudil, Kano State; and a Police Refresher Course at the National Institute of Police Studies (NIPS), Abuja, among others.

Following his Presidential Commissioning, ASP Oha was posted to the Anambra State Police Command, where he completed his mandatory one-year attachment at the Central Police Station (CPS), Awka. He thereafter served as Crime Officer at CPS Awka and later at B’ Division, Awka, as Patrol and Guard Officer, where he distinguished himself through diligence and commitment to duty.

With his blend of operational experience and professional training, ASP Oha is expected to further strengthen information management, media relations, and public engagement across Zone 13, while consolidating the achievements of his predecessors.
