… Set To Build Four Deluxe Bungalows For The LG APC Women Leaders, Hints On His Forthcoming Mega Empowerment Programme.
The Senate Deputy Chief Whip and Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial district- Distinguished Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi has feted the State Executive members of the APC in Ebonyi state in the spirit of Christmas celebration.
Senator Nwebonyi said he was in the office of the State APC Chairman- Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha to celebrate Christmas with them in appreciation of their unwavering commitment to repositioning the ruling party in the state.
He thanked the executive members of the party giving him their mandate and their unflinching support to the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru adding that he will continue to partner them in strengthening the party.
The inimitable federal lawmaker later donated two million naira to the party executives, a sizeable cow and sixty bags of rice. He equally announced that he will commence the building of deluxe bungalows for the four APC women leaders across the council areas in Ebonyi North Senatorial district by next year.
Senator Nwebonyi commended the Party for giving him the platform to go to the National Assembly, emphasizing that he passionately believes in the supremacy of the party noting that he had earlier distributed motorcycles to all the 56 APC ward chairmen across Ebonyi North zone and Toyota Corolla cars to the four APC local government chairmen in the senatorial district.
He also hinted that he is going to distribute grinding machines to the 56 APC Ward women leaders including other items during his forthcoming empowerment programme.
While giving an overview of his forthcoming empowerment Programme scheduled for January 5th 2025, Senator Nwebonyi hinted that he is set to distribute 20 mini buses, 20 tricycles (Keke Napep), 100 motorcycles, 200 grinding machines among others.
The irrepressible Parliamentarian noted that the APC Youth leaders across the 56 ward will equally be captured in the next year budget underscoring his love for the party. According to the astute lawmaker:
“I have come to celebrate Christmas with you people because you made me what I’m today. The mandate I’m holding today is courtesy of the party. You prepared me very well and that’s why I’m number 6 out of the 109 Senators in Nigeria. I attracted 361kms Ebonyi-Benue-Abuja link road including 20kms internal roads spread across the four council areas in Ebonyi North zone. Next year I’m going to prioritize housing for indigent people.”
Earlier, the State APC chairman – Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha appreciated Senator Nwebonyi for his kind gestures to the party noting that they never made any mistake by giving him the mandate to represent them in Abuja.
He extolled his leadership ingenuity, political sagacity, effective representation, robust legislation and humanitarian services assuring that the party is solidly behind him. The APC chieftain reiterated their readiness to partner him and show solidarity at all times.
The event was witnessed by the state party executives and other party faithfuls.
