Yuletide: Sampson Ahuchaogu Foundation Donates Food Items, Cash To The Downtrodden

As part of efforts to put smiles on the faces of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and indigent women, among others, and in the spirit of the Yuletide season, The Sampson Ahuchaogu Foundation has reeled out food items and cash donations to over 1,000 people across Isiala Ngwa South political block.

The Sampson Ahuchaogu Foundation which has in the past 6 months reached out to indigent women, and persons with disabilities in the 4 blocs of Isiala Ngwa South (Amobi, Mbutu, Nvosi, OVOV blocks), has also given cash to members of the foundation to ease their sufferings amid harsh economic realities in the country.

Speaking at the event held on Wednesday at Umuekene, in Isiala Ngwa LGA of Abia State, The Director General, Sampson Ahuchaogu Foundation, Comrade Darlington Ahuruonye, stated that for the past six months, the foundation conceived the idea of impacting lives, it has not stopped in fulfilling its objective.

He pointed out that the founder of the foundation is interested in the welfare of the disabled, indigent women, widows among others in Isiala Ngwa South, noting that they have been giving support to members of the foundation to manage their businesses and take care of their needs.

Comrade Ahuruonye however, said the essence of the gathering was to appreciate them for keeping faith in God and the founder, Mr. Sampson Ahuchaogu.

Lending his voice, the immediate past Chairman, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Hon. Ike Anyatonwu, appreciated the Founder, Sampson Ahuchaogu for showing that the downtrodden are taken care of, adding that he has followed the activities of the Foundation for the past six months.

He expressed optimism that God who has sustained the Foundation these past months, will continue to keep it running as well as use it to uplift the lives of many.

On his part, the member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly Hon.Ugochukwu Collins Iheonunekwu, commended the founder for the gesture and for also remembering the downtrodden, praying God to replenish him.

In his response, the Founder of the foundation, Mr. Sampson Ahuchaogu, said God found him and changed his story, emphasizing that the best way to appreciate God for the generosity in his life, is to reach out to the less privileged around him.

Ahuchaogu, who re-emphazised the importance of giving, pointed out that it has opened doors for him, encouraging those at the event to learn to touch the lives of the less privileged around them while promising to continue to be the mouthpiece of members of the foundation.
