The clearing of overgrown grasses at the center of Onitsha/Enugu expressway from Umunya to Toll Gate Ogbunike by the capacious Mayor of Oyi LGA, has not only enabled a clean environment but also, moved to ensure a safer & more secured environment.
Before the advent of Hon Emma Nweke as a TC Chairman, criminals/kidnappers used to hide inside the overgrown grasses to wait for their preys but the story is no longer the same due to the constant cutting & clearing of the areas since he took over as the LG Boss.
Now, one can clearly see meters ahead of him/her while driving on the expressway both in the day and at night thereby gaining security confidence that the road is clear.
We truly believe in his words that ‘Greater Oyi Remains Possible’ for he came prepared.
