The South East Women Leader Of All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), Hon. Mrs Ngozi Obidike has called for increase in public campaigns of drug awareness.
She made this statement today as the world commemorates 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking, stating that, there is a greater need to maintain and increase the public education campaign against substance and drug abuse in the country.
She pointed to the increase in drug and substance abuse within the population, especially among adolescents and young adults.
She pleaded The Federal Government And Stakeholders to focus on maintaining and increasing The Public Education campaigns for drug awareness.
