Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been commended over the prompt payment of the allowances of the Committee of Unions in Tertiary Institutions (CUTI) in the State.
The CUTI members gave the commendation while meeting with the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde today in her office.
Dr. Arinde said the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is passionate about the welfare of workers. Hence,”the approval and the implementation of the allowances is a testament to prove the heart of gold of our performing Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON and to whom much is given, much is expected,” she said.
Dr. Arinde urged all Unions in higher institutions of learning in the State to always appreciate the kind gesture and put in more efforts in discharging their duties to elevate the standard of education in the State.
In his response, the Chairman of CUTI, Comrade Musa Mustapha, commended the State Government under the leadership of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the implementation of the allowance across all workers of tertiary institutions and pledged the commitment of the Unions to the State government.
