The Idemmili Oba Vigilante Group, alongside Mgbo youth, Anambra State has captured a woman who holds pregnant young adults and teenagers in custody in her home, for the purpose of child trafficking on Sunday.
The womam name not mentioned as at time of report, she is from Etu Nanka and married in Nanka Enugu State, was caught in same act in 2021 but was scolded and pardoned after evicting her from Oba completely. Instead she moved into an apartment revealed to be her property in a popular residential area in Oba called “Estate”.
The Vigilante group got a fresh information and monitored her for two weeks to get for fact, on Sunday morning she was confronted by the vigilante group alongside the mgbo youth in her home.
In her apartment, the group discovered 3 yound girls,
A yoruba young girl gave her name as Ayomide, from Ondo state. According to Ayomide, she has given birth and her baby was sold and she received the sum of N50,000 in return for her service.
An Igbo girl Gift, from Mgbo, Ebonyi state, said hers was a still birth
Another which gave her name as Ogechi Solomon, from Imo State is said to be 1month pregnant at the moment.
The baby she has at hand is yet to be sold according to her, but the mother of the child has been settled and dismissed
As at time of report the Vigilante group is yet to hand her over to the appropriate authority
