Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George has made three changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Benin Republic.
Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali will keep his position in goal after his impressive performance in last Friday’s 1–1 draw with South Africa.
Finidi has also opted for the same backline of Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Benjamin Tanimu and Calvin Bassey.
In midfield, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will make way for Brentford’s Frank Onyeka.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will keep their place.
OGC Nice star, Terem Moffi will lead the attack with Paul Onuachu taking a place on the bench.
Samuel Chukwueze is also preferred to Kelechi Iheanacho, with Ademola Lookman also named in the starting line-up.
The Eagles must win the match to improve their chances of qualifying for the world cup.
They are currently on three points having drawn their first three matches, the latest a 1-1 draw against South Africa in Nigeria.
