A video is currently trending on Social Media on how to successfully avert suicide
In the video a woman can be seen trying to take her life by jumping from a high building while fire fighters could also be seen trying to talk her out of the plan
While negotiating with her the firefighters had other plans in place to rescue the woman
Once activated the woman was saved to the admiration of onlookers who joyfully applauded the expertise of the fire fighters.
This video is coming at a time an Abuja based Nigerian climbed a very high mast and threatened to kill himself because of the hardship in the land. He was successfully talked out of his plan but has since been detained by the police
Reacting to the issue the Delta state Police spokesperson Bright Edafe said the man will be charged to court and if found guilty will be sentenced to at least one year in prison.
Many Nigerians have condemned the move and ask that the man be released immediately.
It is however whether the police will heed to the demand
