Valentine Ozigbo attended Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) in Anambra State to celebrate and support Prof. C.J Ubanyionwu as he delivered the 10th Inaugural Lecture titled “Election Petition in Nigeria, A Legal Quagmire.” The lecture was a significant achievement for Prof. Ubanyionwu and also put Amesi, Mr. Ozigbo’s hometown, on the academic map. It was the first of its kind in the Law Faculty. During the event, Mr. Ozigbo took the opportunity to congratulate and show support for Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the university. He expressed delight at the efforts and systems she is implementing to take the university to greater heights. Prof. Ubanyionwu has an impressive background, having been born in Amesi, Aguata LGA, on November 30, 1972. He received his primary and secondary education at Central School, Amesi, and Christ The Redeemer College, Amesi, respectively. He also excelled as the best graduating student in Political Science and the overall best graduating student from the Social Studies Department at the Federal College of Education.
