~ Encourages Ogbaru People to Continue Supporting LP, Describes Hon. Afam as a Purpose-Driven Man
Valentine Ozigbo, a prominent member of the Labour Party (LP) and former governorship candidate in Anambra State, recently expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Ogbaru Local Government Area. He thanked them for their unwavering support for Hon. Afam Victor Ogene during the State Governorship election in November 2021.
The day-long Victory Thanksgiving Programme included a 10 am Holy Mass at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Okpoko, Ogbaru LGA, and a service at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church Iyiowa Odekpe, Ogbaru LGA. The event culminated in a grand reception at Central School Field, Odekpe, Ogbaru LGA.
Val Ozigbo was present to show his support for Hon. Afam Victor Ogene, who represents Ogbaru Federal Constituency and serves as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Renewable Energy.
During the reception, Ozigbo addressed the crowd, saying, “Ogbaru people, keep the faith! I am always proud of your forward-looking nature.
When I ran for the Governorship in 2021, I received overwhelming support from Ogbaru. You were the ones who recognized that I was the right person for the job. Today, others have come to agree with you.”
Speaking to journalists, Ozigbo described Hon. Afam Ogene as a purpose-driven man who understands the challenges facing our country. He expressed confidence in Ogene’s burning desire to bring about positive change.
