Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma, along with his colleagues, have pledged to work together to address the issue of abandoned projects across the region. This commitment follows President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive for the urgent completion of outstanding projects within the Niger Delta Region.

During a meeting on July 8, 2024, at the Imo State Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, Governor Uzodimma applauded the NDDC Management Team and encouraged them to collaborate closely with the Governing Council, the Governing Board, and the Advisory Board of the NDDC to improve the region’s development.
Governor Uzodimma expressed confidence in the Management Team’s performance, stating, “With a vote of confidence in the Commission’s Management Team, applauding their performance thus far, we believe that through our concerted efforts, we can significantly enhance the infrastructure and overall development of the Niger Delta, positively impacting the lives of its residents.”
