The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing security at the sub-national level, particularly in light of the planned nationwide protests against economic hardship and inflation.
During a meeting with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, the governors expressed their dedication to safeguarding lives and properties.
Ribadu pledged to support the governors in strengthening security architecture at the sub-national level.
The NGF Chairman, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, emphasized the governors’ resolve to address the growing momentum for protests and ensure public safety.
The meeting was attended by governors from 24 states, as well as deputy governors from Enugu and Borno states, demonstrating a united front against insecurity and economic challenges.
