The age-old adage “you reap what you sow” rang true for the young participants of our two-week free vocational and entrepreneurship training program in Enugu East LGA. The Tomorrow Is Here initiative vocational training generously sponsored by the government of Dr. Peter Ndubusi Mbah through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was a resounding success.
Motivation was the driving force behind this achievement, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Llord Ikechukwu Ekweremadu for his tireless efforts in leading the Ministry. Special thanks also go to the amiable Chairman of Enugu East Local Government, Hon. Beloved Dan Anike, and his team for their invaluable support and motivation.
Their contribution to the program’s success was evident in the provision of transportation and training manuals, which significantly enhanced the learning experience. This thoughtful gesture demonstrated a clear understanding of the language of the youth and their needs.
As a foundation, we are committed to fostering partnerships that empower young people and women, ultimately eliminating unemployment and poverty in Enugu State and Nigeria as a whole. We eagerly look forward to more opportunities to harness the energy of our youth and women, promoting locally made Enugu products and driving economic growth.
This program has shown us that with the right investment in our youth, we can reap a bountiful harvest of skilled, motivated, and productive individuals who will drive positive change in our communities.
