Umulogho Unity Forum Partners Utonwanne Age Grade To Launch Medical Intervention Programme

Sharing is caring

In a resounding display of community solidarity, the Umulogho Unity Forum (UUF) has partnered with the Utonwanne Age Grade and August Birthday Celebrants, also known as the G-5, to launch a remarkable medical support initiative.

This collaborative effort aims to alleviate the financial burden of hospitalized individuals from Umulogho and neighboring communities by settling outstanding medical bills.

The program will focus on three major healthcare facilities in the region: Mercy Hospital, Chinoyerem Hospital, and Ejikem Memorial Specialist Hospital. Beneficiaries will be selected randomly from patients who are currently hospitalized or awaiting discharge due to pending medical bills. This approach ensures a fair distribution of support across the community.

At the helm of this initiative is Engr. Obinna Ejikem, the Chairman of the Utonwanne August G-5 Members. Under his direction, the program seeks to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those struggling with medical expenses, reinforcing the community’s commitment to mutual support and welfare.

The UUF medical committee will play a crucial role in the implementation of this program. They are currently finalizing the details and will soon announce the commencement dates for the initiative. This communication will provide essential information to potential beneficiaries and the community at large.

In the words of the UUF Founder Chief Beneth Ejike Mbakwe ;

“The program embodies the very essence of what we envisioned when we established the Umulogho Unity Forum – a platform for collective action and mutual support. By extending a helping hand to those burdened by medical expenses, we are not just alleviating financial stress; we are reinforcing the bonds that make our community strong and resilient. I commend the leadership of Engr. Obinna Ejikem and the dedication of all involved in bringing this initiative to fruition.”

“As we move forward with this program, I call upon all members of the Forum to embrace its spirit of solidarity. Your efforts remind us that the true measure of a community’s strength lies not in individual achievements, but in our capacity to uplift one another in times of need. Let this initiative serve as a beacon of hope and a testament to what we can achieve when we stand united. Together, we will continue to build a community where no one is left behind, and where the welfare of each is the concern of all. May this mark the beginning of even greater collaborative efforts to ensure the well-being of every member of our cherished Umulogho community.”

This joint effort by Umulogho community bodies exemplifies the power of collective action in addressing healthcare challenges. By pooling resources and working together, these groups are not only providing immediate relief to individuals and families in need but also strengthening the bonds of unity within the Umulogho community and beyond.
