President Tinubu, on Thursday, alongside other Heads of State and Government in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, celebrated the country’s 50th Independence Anniversary and Armed Forces Day.
In a statement on Wednesday by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu will be in Bissau on Thursday to celebrate the country’s new independence day, which will be hosted by President Umaro Sissoco Embalo.
Ekweanaedo reports that Guinea-Bissau marked its 50th Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023, but the Government had scheduled all celebrations for November 16, 2023.
The Nigerian President is expected to return to Abuja on Thursday.
