Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is expected back in the country today after attending the 50th Independence Day Anniversary and Armed Forces Day celebrations of Guinea-Bissau.
President Bola Tinubu was in Bissau to participate in the country’s Independence Day anniversary.
Alongside other heads of state and government, he joined in the festivities in Bissau, the country’s capital.
Upon his arrival, President Tinubu was warmly welcomed by Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embaló.
Recall that Guinea-Bissau marked its 50th Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023, but the government had scheduled all celebrations for November 16, 2023.
