President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 10 distinguished Nigerians to join the board of directors at the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI).
This move aims to enhance the performance assessment of both commercial and non-commercial government-owned enterprises, with a strong focus on achieving optimal returns on investments entrusted by the Nigerian people.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed the appointments in a statement issued on Friday.
The newly appointed members include Shamsudeen Usman as the Board Chairman, Armstrong Ume Takang as the CEO/Managing Director, Tajudeen Datti Ahmed as the Executive Director of Portfolio Management, Femi Ogunseinde as the Executive Director of Investment Management, and Oluwakemi Owonubi as the Executive Director of Risk.
