Tanzania Football Federation has sacked its National team coach Adel Amrouche following an eight-match ban and a $10, 000 fine by the Confederation of Africa Football
The Algerian was handed the ban because of his comment after their 3-0 thrashing by Morocco in their first match.
In a statement released by the Tanzania Football Federation on Friday, Amrouche would be replaced by Hemed Morocco as the interim coach.
Amruche had questioned Morocco’s influence in the match and suggested that the North Africans have a say in selecting the referees for their matches.
“Morocco determines everything in African football, they also choose their referees. We remain spectators because they determine everything,” he said
