Suya Seller Killed In Imo, Police Arrest Eight Suspects

Eight persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a suya seller at Ohii junction in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State. This was disclosed by the state Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, who visited the scene of the crime on Friday for an on-the-spot assessment. He condemned the attack and gruesome murder of the grilled meat (suya) seller and two others at Ohii in Owerri West LGA of the state.



He ordered the immediate deployment of available operational assets and tactical teams to go all out in synergy with other sister security agencies and hunt down the hoodlums responsible for the senseless act of violence. He said the suspects are currently undergoing an intense investigation and have provided useful information to the police.





The CP called on the general public, particularly the residents of the area, to go about their lawful business without any form of fear or intimidation, saying the Command was on top of the situation.
