Super Eagles Camp Opens in Uyo Ahead of AFCON Qualifiers

The Super Eagles have commenced preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with eleven players already in camp in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Ola Aina are among the early arrivals.

Caretaker head coach Augustine Eguavoen and his assistant Fidelis Ilechukwu are also in Uyo, ready to lead the team to victory.

The remaining players are expected to arrive Tuesday ahead of the team’s first official training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium practice pitch.

The Super Eagles will face Benin Republic on September 7 and Rwanda on September 10.
