Kaduna state Governor has expressed delight upon receiving the newly elected executive members of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), who were in Sir Kashim Ibrahim House to extend their heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of Kaduna State over the unfortunate Tudun Biri military drone attack.

The 17-member Central Executive Committee of the union which was led by its President, Comrade (Engr.) Tabara Samuel Kato commended the state government for responding promptly to the humanitarian situation in Tudun Biri. The State Government’s intervention, they said, brought immediate relief to the injured, families of the victims and the entire Tudun Biri community. They also commended the government for improved security, peace and unity in the state, as well as the 2024 “Budget of Rural Transformation for Inclusive Development” which will bring about all round development in Kaduna State. They expressed their readiness to work with the state government for the progress and development of Kaduna State.

In his response, he thanked them for standing with the people of Tudun Biri in this trying moment.

He further reassured them of his administration’s commitment to the forging of understanding among our people and running a people – centered and inclusive administration.

He said, “We are all stakeholders in the Kaduna Project. Development will reach every part of Kaduna State. Our citizens would be carried along irrespective of their religious, ethnic or political affiliation. We consider SOKAPU a strategic partner in our efforts at making Kaduna State a model of inclusive development in Nigeria”.
