The five cardinal agenda of his administration, which includes security, infrastructure, and human capital development, remains a top priority.
Excitingly, the governor announced plans for urban regeneration through a state-wide Water Scheme and infrastructure development. He also revealed intentions to dualize roads, connecting Nnewi and Ekwulobia to the capital city.
Governor Soludo emphasized that merit is the guiding principle for appointments and the recruitment of teachers, as well as the “one youth, two skills” program. He assured the people of Anambra that his government is relentlessly working towards creating a livable and prosperous homeland.
The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor, commended the governor for organizing a thanksgiving service to mark the occasion. He acknowledged that Governor Soludo’s achievements in the past 24 months are unparalleled in the history of the state.
