Nigerians have been urged to disregard messages on free registration business names and companies
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) issued the warning on Tuesday in a statement and said such messages would never come from them.
“Please, disregard any SMS or WhatsApp message asking you to enroll for free CAC registration, as it is not from us! Thank you,” CAC posted.
In another development, the Lagos Office of the Corporate Affairs Commission hosted the Registrar General/CEO of the Commission, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN).
The Registrar General, who came to Lagos on an official engagement, assured the staff of prompt response to issues affecting their job for enhanced productivity.
He stressed that the visit will afford him the opportunity to hear firsthand their challenges and experiences on the job and provide immediate solutions where possible.
