Senator Opeyemi Bamidele Mega Empowerment Boosts Entrepreneurship And Skill Development In Ekiti Central

Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, has intensified efforts to empower his constituents through comprehensive initiatives aimed at reducing unemployment and fostering economic growth. Recently, he trained 1,900 youths and women in vocational and entrepreneurial skills, covering areas such as makeup artistry, barbing, leather works, fashion designing, confectionery, hairdressing, soap making, and agriculture. The three-day training program equipped participants with practical knowledge and resources to kickstart their businesses.

In addition to the training, Senator Bamidele distributed various empowerment items to over 5,000 constituents across five local government areas. These included tailoring machines, hairdryers, makeup kits, tractors, sewing machines, chest freezers, and grants to support small businesses. He also provided motorcycles, tricycles, mini-buses, fertilizers, corn seeders, and educational materials for students in public schools.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji commended the senator’s initiatives during the empowerment program in Ado-Ekiti. He highlighted the positive impact of Bamidele’s projects on grassroots development and praised his dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ekiti State.
