Barrister Ifeanyi Ubah, The Senator Representing Anambra South Senatorial District, has indicated interest to contest the Anambra State Governorship Election come 2025.
The Senator, pledged to do a single term in office to complete the turn of the Anambra South Senatorial District in the spirit of good governance agreement guiding the zoning and rotation of the governorship position of the state since 2014.
He noted that the incumbent Governor of the state, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, is from Anambra South Senatorial District and in the second year of his first tenure in office.
He maintained that four years is enough for any focused Governor of a state to do great things and change the lives of his people in the state positively.
He further stated that the state will be the top commercial and health destinations in the S’East, Nigeria and the global world in general if given a chance by Anambrarians.
Describing the development in the state, as very slow, Ubah said 80 percent of his blueprints/ideas for the development of the state are innovative and beyond the capacity of his opponents including the sitting Governor.
