The Senator of Anambra south senatorial district in the person of Senator Dr Ifeanyi Uba is on the move to empower his people with 250millions Naira.
Recall that the Senator was once in the line as Anambra state gubernatorial candidate in 2014 under the LABOUR PARTY (LP), he further contested for Senate under the YOUNG PEOPLES PARTY(YPP) and won in 2019.
While in an interview with the senator’s Liason officer in the person of Mrs Benedith Uchendu who officially resumed office on the 28th day of October 2023 told Ekweanaedo news correspondent that the Senator is on the set to empower the Anambra south Senatorial district with 250Million Naira by December but as at the time of interview no date disclosed.
she said:
“the empowerment will benefit lot of individuals ranging from schools, churches, market women and some will go for scholarships and APC members which is the Senator’s political party.
“She also stated that the Senator is set to help a lot of other youth in the labour market to secure a better tomorrow by making jobs available to qualified graduates and middle certificate holders whose curriculum vitae(CV) suits available position.
“she also implore the unemployed youths to visit the Liason office at Authority Radio office with their CVs to register with the house”
She further elaborated on her position as a Liason Officer and what her office entails and how it will impact on the society saying,
“As a Liason officer , my office is like the eyes and ears of the senator as a lot of individuals cannot access the Senator without an appointment, but when u come through my office u are assured of a swift response from the Senator.
