The Senator Representing Anambra South Senatorial District, has accused the State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo of electoral mischief during the House of Representatives rerun election.
Senator Ifeanyi, who spoke to EkweAnaedo on Monday alledged that the Governor sent seven of his commissioners, hoping to waylay victory for the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), but because of the love of the people for him, they voted for YPP.
He also said, ” I was in my house here in Nnewi. I didn’t step out from my house during the Saturday February 3rd rerun polls, but I used my influence and strategies to win the two seats of House of Representatives for my former party, Young Progressives Party,(YPP). That’s a test for 2025 Governorship election in Anambra State.
“The state government sent down seven Commissioners and SA’s, Other Government officials to Nnewi for that election for APGA. Their purpose was to intimidate us but we floored them to make a statement that by the grace of God we are in charge of Nnewi and Anambra South Senatorial District in general,” Ubah noted.
