The Headmistress of Aboh Primary School, Umudioka, Mrs Helen Okeke-atu had extolled the Mayor of Dunukofia LGA, Barr. Chijioke C. Ozumba for speedly coming to the aid of her school, by building a wall perimeter fence round the school compound, for safety of the students, teachers, management staff and properties.

Overwhelmed by the quick response of the Mayor on the plight of the school, the Headmistress accompanied by one of her staff expressed her immense joy and appreciation in a thank-you-visit she paid to the Mayor in his office, in the Dunukofia Local Government Council’s Secretariat, Ukpo.

Mrs Okeke-atu disclosed that the quick response by the Mayor and the speedy execution of the project is saving the school from insecurity and embarrassment from thieves and disgruntled elements who enter the school compound freely, taking away school properties including farm products.

Presenting heads of plantain, Banana, and some pawpaw fruits to the Mayor, she explained that she brought these farm products to prove to him that the fence he built for the school has succeeded in providing security and safeguarding the school properties hence, these farm products were met intact, unharvested by the thieves.

Representing the Mayor who was unavailably absent, the Deputy Mayor of the Dunukofia Local Government Council, Hon. Lady Lilian Chinweze assured the School Management that their message will be delivered to the Mayor, she thanked them for their visit and urged to ensure excellent teachings and learnings for the students in the school.
