Prince IK Samben Nwosu Reaffirms Commitment To Education At Nnewi Academic Congress Easter Event

Sharing is caring

The Easter Congress of the Nnewi Academic Congress (NAC) held this year was graced by none other than the Anambra South Senatorial Candidate, Prince IK Samben Nwosu. The event, themed “Do Security and Culture Impact Student Academic Success?” brought together students, leaders, and concerned citizens to discuss the vital role education plays in shaping society.

In his address, Prince IK Samben Nwosu spoke passionately about the power of education to transform communities. He described education as a light that drives away the darkness of ignorance, backwardness, and insecurity. According to him, when people are educated, they are better equipped to protect themselves, make wise decisions, and contribute positively to the development of their communities.

Prince Samben highlighted that security is not just about physical protection, but also about enlightening the mind. He explained that education makes people aware of their rights, responsibilities, and the consequences of their actions, which in turn fosters peace and security in society.

Drawing inspiration from the life and legacy of the great Late Dr. Nwafor Orizu, Prince Samben reminded the audience of how Dr. Orizu, through his visionary efforts, encouraged many Nnewi indigenes to pursue education, even beyond Nigeria’s shores. Those early scholars, he said, returned home with knowledge that helped open the eyes of their people and uplifted the entire community.

Prince Samben stressed that today’s educated youths have a duty to pass on this light. He urged students and graduates not to hoard their knowledge but to use every opportunity to encourage their siblings, friends, and neighbors to value and pursue formal education.

He also shared personal insights, describing himself as someone who deeply loves to advocate for formal education. He noted that whenever he sees a genuine need, he does not hesitate to support individuals who wish to further their studies. Prince Samben’s words were not just motivational; they were a clear reflection of his vision for a better, more educated Anambra South.

In a time when communities seek leaders who truly understand the challenges of the people, Prince IK Samben Nwosu’s message stood out as a call to action — a reminder that education is still the strongest weapon to secure a brighter future.

As the 2025 elections approach, the people of Anambra South will surely remember the man who believes that the first step to building a better society is empowering the mind.
