…Convenes High-Powered Security Meeting.
Following the August 1 planned protest across the nation, the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Chief (Sir) Stanley Nkwoka (Ochendo Idemili) has convened a high-powered security meeting held at the Council’s Headquarters, Ogidi.
The all-important meeting had many Security Chiefs and Commanders including the Divisional Police Officer, Ogidi, CSP Frank Amobi, Security Officer of Idemili North, Mr. Mike Okeke, the
Divisional Officer of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Idemili North, CSC Aguoji in attendance.
Addressing the security personnel numbering over 60, the action-packed TC Chairman charged them to go all out tomorrow and safeguard all government’s properties, corporate organisations as well as life and property of Ndi Idemili North, admonishing them to ensure that law and order were maintained across the length and breadth of the most populous and densely populated Local Government Area tomorrow and always.
The Chief Servant of Idemili North stated that he had already mapped out a watertight security strategies, saying that once he gets an approval from the Solution Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, he would put it into use without delay, adding that it would be implemented almost immediately.
The Council Boss popularly known and addressed as Ochendo Idemili assured the security agents that he would make their welfare his utmost priority,saying that someone that is hungry cannot be armed or be given the mandate to secure anything let alone life.
He called on Ndi Idemili North to join hands with him in moving the Council forward, emphasizing that security of life and property remained a collective responsibility.
