The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, has brokered a reconciliation meeting with the members of the popular music group, P-Square, comprising twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye.
The meeting comes on the heels of a recent feud between the twin brothers, which escalated when Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) alleged that his brother Peter (Mr. P) had petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest him.
However, Peter Okoye denied the accusations in an open letter, stating that his focus was on uncovering the truth behind a secret company, Northside Music, allegedly owned by their brother, Jude Okoye, and his wife, Ifeoma.
In a trending photo posted on Rudeboy’s verified Facebook page, Peter Obi was seen with the music duo on Tuesday evening, signaling a reconciliation meeting.
Rudeboy captioned the photos, “Thank you very much and God bless you, sir, P.O. @peterobigregory #yourexcellency.”
The meeting facilitated by Peter Obi may mark the beginning of a resolution to the feud between the twin brothers, who have been a significant force in the Nigerian music industry. The reconciliation is a welcome development for their fans and the entertainment industry as a whole.
