In his address, the Governor clarified that these beneficiaries have formed themselves into cooperatives. Special funding has been allocated through the Anambra State Small Business Agency (ASBA) for those who wish to expand their enterprises, enabling them to access grants of up to five million naira.

The Governor emphasised that the grant provided to each beneficiary should be sufficient to purchase the necessary equipment to start their ventures. He encouraged them to visit their respective local government offices next week to collect their ready-to-distribute cheques.

Governor Soludo underscored the importance of human capital as Anambra’s greatest resource. He referred to the youth as the bridge to the future and expressed his administration’s commitment to fostering sustainable empowerment.

Commissioner for Youth Development in the state, Patrick Agha-Mba revealed that the second phase of the program is set to begin soon. He highlighted this initiative as a significant step towards elevating the youth to the next level, projecting that within the next two years, these beneficiaries will have transitioned into employers of labor.
